GAME RULES

1. 🎯 Objective +

This is a Battle Royale (Duos) format.

You will play in teams of 2 — eliminate other teams and be the last team standing.

To move on to the next round, your team must eliminate at least one person. eliminate both, you move on AND you are safe from the next purge.

2. 💰 Entry Fee +

Info regarding entry payments can be found on the sign-up section of this website. The $10 payment is mandatory and you cannot play unless it is paid. All these payments collected from players will be allocated towards the prize pool, which will be split amongst the winning duo.

3. 👥 Teams +
  • Players must register in teams of 2 (or solo if they wish)
  • Each team must:
    • Create a team name
    • Upload a team photo in the app
  • Both teammates are active players
4. 💀 Eliminations (Duos Rules) +
  • If one teammate is eliminated, they are out
  • The other teammate continues solo
  • A team is fully eliminated when both players are out
  • When your team eliminates a target, this means your team can advance to the next round. However, it does not mean that you are immune for the rest of the week; your assassins are still able to eliminate you.
5. 🔫 Approved Weapons +
  • Water balloons
  • Water containers/buckets
  • Brightly colored water guns only

❗ Water guns must be clearly toy-like (no realistic-looking replicas)

❗ No other items are allowed

❗ Gel blasters and similar items are NOT allowed due to high impact

6. 🚫 School Safe Zone +

School Grounds (Red Zone):

  • Everything inside the red boundary lines shown in the map/photo is a safe zone (no eliminations)
  • Arena parking lot is free game, however, due to proximity to staff parking, the front parking lot is a safe zone. Try to get to school early to get a spot!!

Outside School Grounds:

  • Everything outside the red zone is active play (eliminations allowed)

Exception – School Classes:

  • If you leave school grounds for a class, you are still safe

    • Upon the request of Mr. Rankin, your water weapons are prohibited on school property, and in your car they must be tucked away. Arena parking lot elimjnations are allowed but you are not allowed to shoot someone in a moving car (not parked) here, unless youre a passenger.

7. 🏢 Personal Safe Zone Rules +

💼 Work (Jobs)

  • You are safe while at work
  • You are safe until you touch your car
  • Once you touch your car, you are no longer safe

⛪ Religious Places / Events

  • Same rules as work:
    • Safe while attending
    • Safe until you touch your car

🏅 Sports/Team Training

  • When you are actively playing/training in your team sport, you are safe until the game/training session is over.
  • *Example: If you arrive at volleyball practice, you are safe once you enter the facility, but once you leave, you’re free game.
  • Safe zones are valid as long as you’re participating in a sport which involves a coach/trainer/instructor.
  • *For example, if you are simply at the driving range on the golf course with your friends without a coach or instructor, you’re free game.

🏡 People's Houses

  • You are allowed to lurk around the area, but you are not allowed to break in or enter someone’s house unless you have permission from your target’s family member.
  • *Example: If your target's parents/siblings allow you into your target’s house, you are allowed to go in and try to eliminate them.
  • You are also allowed to knock or ring on their front doorbell and if your target answers or you manage to lure them to the front door, you’re allowed to try to eliminate them (without entering the house unless given permission).

Grad Events (suits & dresses)

  • You have immunity when wearing your grad suit/dress to a grad related event.
  • *Example: Photoshoots, rehearsals, etc.
  • PLEASE NOTE: This immunity is only allowed for grad related events! If you wear a suit/dress on any normal day (to a random dinner, date, party, or any normal day activities), you WILL NOT be immune and CAN be eliminated.
8. 🗺️ Vacations/Away +

If you are gone for a quick weekend activity, like other normal rounds, you’re fine as long as if your team has eliminated target by the end of the round. If your team has not eliminated a target by the end of the round, then your team is eliminated. Also, your assassins are allowed to travel any distance to get you as you're not on a full vacation.

If you are on an actual vacation and are away for longer than a weekend, your partner continues solo and acts as your lifeline.

  • If your partner gets out while you’re on vacation, your whole team is out.
  • If your partner survives while you’re on vacation, you’re allowed to rejoin the team once you’re back in town.
9. 🏥 Immunity +

Immunity keeps you from being eliminated; if worn, you cannot be eliminated when shot.

Approved immunity items include:

  • Water wings/floaties
  • Goggles
  • Swim Caps
  • Life Jakckets

One of these (your choice which one) MUST be visible on your person for full transparency for your assassin (ex. Goggles MUST be on eyes or forehead, 1-2 floaties MUST be visible on your arms (how they're meant to be worn, above the elbow), life jackets must be fully on, swim caps MUST be fully on your head (and not obstructed by hats/hoodies). If you hide immunity items under clothing and are shot, you are in violation of this rule and WILL be eliminated.

Immunity items are not able to provide you protection on purge days.

Immunity CANNOT be active when you are eliminating someone. If you have goggles on your forehead/eyes, life jacket, 1-2 floaties on your arms or swim caps on your head when trying to eliminate a target, it doesn’t count.

When eliminating a target, you ARE allowed to have goggles on your neck as they're not active, as well as holding your floaties/life jackets/swim caps.

you are NOT allowed to physically touch and remove the immunity from a target."

10. ⏰ Game Hours +

Eliminations are allowed 24 hours a day

11. ☠ How to Eliminate a Player +
  • You must use an approved method (water hit, etc.)
  • The elimination must be:
    • Clearly captured on video
    • Fair

After elimination:

  1. Upload the video to the Splashin app (plus button at the botton of the screen)
  2. Wait for confirmation from organizers
  3. The eliminated player is out once approved
12. 📱 Reporting Eliminations +
  • All eliminations must be submitted through the Splashin app
  • Your submission must include:
    • Clear video proof of the elimination
    • Both players visible if possible
13. ⚠ Rules & Fair Play +
  • No physical harm, harassment, or unsafe behavior
  • No trespassing on private property unless you have permission from a family member
  • No damaging property
  • No abusing safe zones
  • No puppy guarding the safe zone (waiting outside the safe zone to ambush players immediately as they leave)
14. 🚨 Conduct Rules +
  • I will not wear disguises, masks, or conduct myself in a manner that may frighten or otherwise endanger players or members of the public
  • I will not conduct myself in a manner that has the appearance of a dangerous or illegal activity
  • I will not engage in any activities that may lead to harm of others, property damage, or public nuisance
  • I will not engage in any gameplay while in, operating, or near moving vehicles

Breaking rules = disqualification

15. ❤️ Revives +

Only players with their teammate still in the game may claim a revive. Whole team out = fully eliminated.

(Normal Revives) There are a limited number of revives available, and these will be randomly placed at various geographical locations for players to discover and claim.

(Paid Revives) However, within the first two weeks of the game, to help ramp up the prize pool, we are offering an expensive choice of a revive for $50. This guarantees you will be back in the game immediately after payment is received. After the first two weeks, these guaranteed revives will no longer be offered as the game narrows down, and and it will not be fair to others.

For paid revives only:

  • Each player has the opportunity to buy 1 paid revive total for the entire game.
  • You can only request a paid revive if your teammate is still in the game.
  • If both teammates are out, your team is fully eliminated (no paid revive allowed).
  • You must contact organizers for approval before being revived.
  • Once approved, the player is placed back into the game.
16. 🔥 Purge Days +
  • Purge Days are random, 6-hour events announced by the organizers.
  • Immunity items (floaties, goggles) DO NOT protect you on Purge Days.
  • Everyone's location will be enabled in the app for full visibility.
  • If you eliminate anyone during a Purge, you will automatically advance to the next week (meaning your original target is irrelevant for that round).
  • If you do not eliminate anyone during a Purge, you still have the remainder of the round to eliminate your original target(s).
  • The player (or team, if applicable) with the most successful eliminations during a single Purge Day will earn immunity for the entire next round.
  • The start date/time of a Purge may be kept secret by organizers.
  • All other rules (no trespassing, safety, conduct, etc.) still apply.
17. 🏆 Winning +

The last team standing wins and splits the prize pool! (Choose your duo partner wisely, because if they get eliminated and you carry your team to the finish line, you still have to split the prize with them 😉).

18. 👑 Admin Win +

Admins stand to gain nothing personally from this game. If the admin team manages to win the game, 100% of the prize pool will go to charity.

19. 📢 Final Notes +
  • This is a game — safety and respect come first
  • Organizers have final say on all decisions
